Cannister Cottage
Ideally located in the village of Eamont Bridge, Cumbria, Cannister Cottage is a pleasant and well-equipped cottage on the fringe of the English Lake District. AIA inspected, it is ideally placed for access from the M6 motorway junction 40 and about a mile from the popular Market Town of Penrith with its many shops, pubs and restaurants. The River Eamont flows through the middle of the village where you can amble peacefully along the riverbank.
For those who like a stroll to a local pub in the evenings for a refreshing pint after a day exploring the many delights that the area has to offer, the local pub and hotel are a two minute walk.
The very beautiful Lake Ullswater is a short drive away. The popular Lakeland Town of Keswick is a twenty minute drive away. The picturesque Eden Valley with its many charming villages is well worth a visit. For the keen shopper the Historic City of Carlisle, with its many shops and places of interest, is half an hours drive, with the Scottish Borders and the World famous Gretna Green slightly further North.

Two bedrooms, one double and one twin. Bathroom with bath, independent shower over, WC, WHB and heated towel rail.

Private parking, patio and garden area with garden furniture.

Fully inclusive tariff. Bedding and towels provided. Travel cot available. Sorry, no pets. Non-smokers preferred.
Weekend and short breaks are available on request. The property is available for self-catering until end 2006. Sleeps four (+cot).
